Not far from tomorrow is a constantly growing collection of photographs that depict everyday scenes. I have been photographing predominantly people that I know and environments that I am familiar with for many years. This work is not only an ongoing photographic one but also an archive work.
The ways of showing I developed for this work reflect its character. It is not a chronological story with a beginning and an end, but a fragmented ever changing collection, and so also each installation is of a temporary nature. I have shown the photographs in the past in different sizes spread out over the walls with black and white images in between, and am presently using different sized photographs on boards.
