Untitled is a piece I made on request for ‘Host4: Cinema’. 36 artists were invited by the artist’s group Host to produce a one minute video piece on the subject cinema. ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’ (Michael Moore) and other documentary films had been big films that summer. Being confronted with the situation of Iraqi asylum seekers through my social environment, there was then a case in Sheffield where a man went on hunger strike against the refugee politics. I followed the subsequent protests that, even if not changing the situation on the whole, were significant in terms of support, presence and resistance.
